Silverbear's Customer Forum 2014

Silverbear held our first customer forum in October at Kew Royal Botanic Gardens. Our customers were invited to attend with the goals of learning more about Silverbear's plans for the future, as well as to meet and network with each other.

Silverbear Managing Director Mark Travis talked in depth about the journey Silverbear have been on for the last few years and how we've developed our software and grown as a company. Product Director, Paul Bennett followed on from Mark's presentation and spoke about the product timeline - how we've developed Silverbear Membership, and where we plan to take it in the future.

On the day, over 30 customers attended with the room at full capacity. Customer feedback was extremely positive, with many saying how beneficial it had been. As Sharn Harrison from the YHA stated:

Very interesting and informative presentations. Lovely venue. Great to talk to other Silverbear customers. This was very good first customer forum - look forward to the next one!

One of the outcomes was that customers said they'd like the ability to network and communicate with each other. So in order to facilitate this, we've created a private LinkedIn group where customers can join and participate in a variety of discussions with Silverbear and other customers.

We'd like to extend out thanks to Kew for letting us host the event at their venue. The food was fantastic and many of our customers thoroughly enjoyed the (wet and rainy, but very interesting) guided tour which took place after the event.
