Silverbear are proud to announce a new partnership with awarding body and membership organisation The Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE). The Silverbear Membership solution will enable the IFE to become a more efficient and effective organisation, allowing staff to deliver better services to members whilst enhancing the user experience for all stakeholders.
With almost 10,000 fire professionals from over 40 branches, in more than 30 countries, the IFE required a solution that would process and manage the high volume of different membership types and awarding certifications. IFE requires their new solution to interface with the IFE website and incorporate all data into a single platform.
Carl Grieves, Silverbear Director said “Silverbear has a long track record of working with organisations such as IFE, both at a technical and business level to enable them to maximise the benefits and opportunities offered by new and emerging technologies. We are looking forward to working closely together with IFE over the long term to ensure the on-going success of its complete membership strategy and technical solutions.”
The new solution will consolidate the current combination of disparate information systems (including membership administration, education and exams management, digital communications and enquiry management) into one single platform. Core requirements of the solution include:
- Contacts and Membership Management (CRM)
- Education and Exams Management System
- Marketing automation and ESP integration
- Financial Management and Direct Debit processing with integration to Sage 50
This new solution will underpin all aspects of the IFE’s operational and day-to-day member engagement activities and will enable IFE to provide a personalised online experience to each individual organisation, member and resulting member community.
The Silverbear Membership Solution is built on Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016, making it a familiar environment for all IFE users.
Following a rigorous procurement process the IFE board approved a contract with Silverbear to provide a replacement membership database. We were all impressed by the potential that this solution offers, to not only help us automate existing processes but also to deploy the knowledge our members share to help improve the science of fire safety
