Silverbear strengthened its digital transformation offering after being appointed official supplier and recently re-certified to Digital & Outcomes Specialists 4 (DOS4) and G-Cloud frameworks – two UK governmental programmes that enable public sector organisations to find and procure digital and cloud services.

The decision, which was made by the Crown Commercial Service, now places Silverbear in the top tier of UK firms to be recognised as key suppliers under the government’s Digital Marketplace strategy.

The announcement will be welcomed by existing and prospective education and not-for-profit clients that have access to both frameworks and who can now procure Silverbear’s services in the knowledge that they meet the government’s high standards.

DOS4 is broken down into digital outcomes and digital specialists. The digital outcomes component allows Silverbear to provide teams and services under the framework. The digital specialists element enables the firm to offer individual developers.

Silverbear’s inclusion on the G-Cloud framework enables it to offer cloud hosting, cloud software and cloud support services - three elements on which its flagship Silverbear Membership product is built - to public sector organisations.

Carl Grieves, Silverbear’s CEO, comments: "Silverbear’s inclusion within these two key frameworks not only demonstrates our ability to provide our clients with a wide-ranging digital transformation package, but also shows that we can do so to government standards and with its full endorsement. Public sector and not-for-profit organisations can now procure Silverbear’s products and services in the knowledge that we can deliver government-backed digital transformation programmes from beginning to end."
