Carl Grieves, Managing Director at Silverbear and Mark Travis, Silverbear's CEO and Founder, are joined by TUC Leader Frances O'Grady at TUC Congress 2018
This year’s TUC conference was not just a political stage for keynote speakers including the Shadow Chancellor and the Archbishop of Canterbury, but also the chosen platform for Silverbear to announce plans to expand its presence amongst the trade union sector over the next 12 months.
The membership solutions provider, which already includes a portfolio of eminent trade union-led clients, stated during the three-day event that the firm was now ‘better placed than ever’ to continue developing partnerships with trade unions.
The announcement follows a string of quality assurances and certifications it has recently received from Microsoft, on which its solution is built, which makes Silverbear the UK’s only Microsoft-endorsed firm to cater for the membership sector with an accessible, cloud-based membership product.
Speaking from TUC Congress 2018, which took place in Manchester on 9 – 12 September, Silverbear’s Managing Director, Carl Grieves, said: “Silverbear offers trade unions the opportunity to bypass the typical challenges we know they currently face from other solutions providers with proprietary technology. Through our alliances with Microsoft, and having developed the Silverbear Membership platform within Dynamics 365, we can offer trade unions a membership management platform with a low-cost barrier to entry and one that has been designed in line with Microsoft’s own evolution.”
Silverbear Membership caters for membership organisations by providing the technology required to facilitate effective community engagement across multiple channels. The platform also creates operational efficiencies through the automation and unification of organisations’ workflow and data.
