Silverbear to urge data rethink at national membership conference
Silverbear, the UK’s Membership CRM specialist, will outline its vision for the future of data and its role within digital organisations during at a keynote address at Memcom, the conference for leaders in the membership sector, which takes place on 20 June at Bishopsgate, London.
Silverbear’s Client Engagement Manager, Jenni McKenzie, will outline a data-led strategy that reveals how organisations can reduce the amount of data they hold - and the cost for holding it - as they move towards a digital landscape during a Lightening Talk that takes place at 2.10pm.
The talk, which forms part of this year’s conference theme of ‘Leading into the Future’, is one of many initiatives that the Surrey-based membership software firm is championing in a bid to help membership organisations simplify their transition to digital.
On helping organisations futureproof their membership infrastructure, Jenni comments: “Going digital is not only a fantastic way in which to generate efficiencies and become much smarter when it comes to managing and growing a membership, but it also represents a great opportunity to perform the organisational data equivalent of a ‘spring clean’. There is a mismatch between how much data organisations think they need and what they really need, and this talk aims to shine a spotlight on this misconception.”
The annual flagship event, which is held for professional associations, membership organisations, charities and the wider not-for-profit sector, launched in 2000 and has since carved a reputation as a national platform for member-led thought leadership.
