Silverbear Approved as a Crown Commercial Service Vendor on the Digital Marketplace

Silverbear Approved as a Crown Commercial Service Vendor on the Digital Marketplace (formally G-Cloud)

Silverbear News |
Silverbear has been awarded a place on the Crown Commercial Service's (CCS) Digital Marketplace for the supply of membership management software. This platform, previously known as the G-Cloud, is a list of approved commercial vendors to the public sector. The CCS acts on behalf of the Crown to drive savings for the taxpayer and improve the quality of commercial and procurement activity.

CCS’s vision is to deliver value for the nation through outstanding commercial capability and quality customer service. Its procurement arrangements can be used by central government departments and organisations across the public sector including local government, health, education, not-for-profit and devolved administrations.

Using this agreement will help CCS deliver savings for the public sector and the taxpayer by aggregating spend to drive best value.

“Silverbear's Membership Management Solution has been approved for use across government and can be used by all central government departments, their arm’s length bodies, nondepartmental public bodies and executive agencies.” said Carl Grieves, Silverbear’s Sales & Marketing Director. “Being able to work with the public sector, without having to go through the hoops of tendering and competition checks, means that we can speed up the process of working with organisations in these key sectors.”

The renewal of the Digital Marketplace arrangement is another success story for Silverbear, who have enjoyed a series of wins in 2015 already. With new customers, product upgrades and a string of upcoming events, 2015 is looking to be another great year for the company.
