Introduction to Microsoft Dynamics 365

Microsoft Dynamics |

Microsoft Dynamics 365 is the next generation of intelligent business applications in the cloud. Launched on 1st November 2016, Dynamics 365 unifies CRM and ERP capabilities by delivering new purpose-built applications to help manage specific business functions, including sales, customer service, field service, project service automation and operation.

Dynamics 365 has two editions, Enterprise and Business editions. The Enterprise edition is optimised for 250+ employees and includes the capabilities of Dynamics CRM Online and Dynamics AX products. The Business Edition is optimised for 10-250 employees and includes Dynamics 365 for Financials at launch with future expected sales and marketing applications.

Microsoft have spent a great deal of time revamping the applications that organisations use to manage their tasks, such as accounting, HR and customer management – combining them into a unified cloud-based product that will sort and analyse all the data in one single platform. This also means that users can now execute CRM based tasks in Excel and Word.

This will benefit member organisations, as it gives them access to the best of Microsoft’s applications, whilst improving workflow, member knowledge and insights. Associations will be able to understand their members better; what they want and how they behave. Turning this data into actionable plans to provide a better, more engaging experience.

The cloud based Microsoft Dynamics 365 includes data analysis tools from Microsoft’s Power BI. The improved level of data management means that professional associations can more accurately target specific members and prospective members, rather than sending out a single message to all – helping to increase membership recruitment through the user of personalised, contextual and content-rich marketing. By targeting existing members with focused communications, our customers can maximise loyalty and lifetime value of those members.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Enterprise Edition is available now . Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Edition will be launched Spring 2017.
