Silverbear are pleased to announce a long-term partnership with The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) to support implementation of the 2020 Strategic Plan.

The CIOB is the world’s largest and most influential professional body for construction management and leadership. CIOB have a Royal Charter to promote the science and practice of building and construction for the benefit of society, and have been doing that since 1834.

CIOB accredits university degrees and national vocational courses. Their professional programmes and vocational qualifications are a mark of the highest levels of competence and professionalism, providing assurance to clients and other professionals procuring built assets.

CIOB’s membership stands over 44,000 individual memberships and more than 500 corporates. They hold branch-based and national events throughout the calendar year, including ceremonies for their various highly sought after Construction Industry Awards.

Silverbear will be supporting CIOB’s most significant change in membership structures in 20 years and enabling, through technology, numerous aspects of the 2020 Strategic Plan. The deliverables are well underway, incorporating planned organisation-wide use of Silverbear Membership to deliver CIOB programmes, stronger employer engagement and support further recognition of CIOB qualifications and value of Chartered Membership.

“It is an exciting opportunity for Silverbear to facilitate and support the CIOB in their strategic objectives. Additionally, and importantly, the opportunity to also work alongside Purple provides an industry-leading, compelling partnership.
