On Friday 15th July Silverbear hosted our third annual Customer Forum. This years event was held at one of our customer sites - the Museum of London.
It was a glorious day and everyone was able to make the most of the museum's beautiful gardens and outside space. Attendees included delegates from ACE, BABCP, BSAVA, BVA, CBI, The IoD, IMarEST, London and Partners, PLSA, Natural History Museum, Royal College of Nursing, IET, YHA and more.
The presentations covered a range of topics and were delivered by This is Purple, Microsoft, The IoD, Memberwise, Clear Direct Debit, Cantarus and Silverbear.
Simon Adams from Purple gave a very interesting presentation on how to improve the member experience. With a focus on how membership organisations can take customer insights and team this knowledge with technology to improve the implementation and user adoption of various strategies. They outlined how organisations can really understand their customers and how to understand what stage of the journey they are on.
The presentations were all full of practical insights and tips to help our customers improve the way they manage their members. The real life case study from James Maunders from The IoD was very well received indeed.
Just wanted to say thank you for the training day last week and also for last Friday’s customer day. I really enjoyed the customer day and thought it was very valuable. I came away with lots of ideas ... so we will see if we can run with any of them. Looking forward to the next one already.
Claire Creed, Membership Officer BOHS.
